Streatham Accommodation Bureau (SAB) is a growing independent residential sales and lettings agents founded in Streatham in 1968. We are now a very experienced residential sales and lettings agents based in Streatham, South London UK. Our residential sales and lettings agents head office, based in Central Streatham, South West London UK is staffed by a professional team of dedicated people focussed on Sales, Lettings, administration and management. With the volume of business on the rise, year 2002 saw the birth of our second branch located near Streatham Common. Specialising mainly in sales, the experienced team at this branch have generated substantial new business within a short space of time. Our two residential sales and lettings agents offices, located on opposite sides of Streatham, enables SAB to cater efficiently and effectively for Streatham and the surrounding areas. Our plan is to expand further with more well located branches in South London.

We are a residential sales and lettings agents based in Streatham, South London UK and whether you’re trying to rent or buy a property, it can sometimes be a frustrating experience. However, with the help of our friendly and experienced staff at Streatham Accommodation Bureau (SAB), we will take the pressure and stress off you, so you can rest assured knowing your asset is in safe hands.

Lettings

Lettings Only

We will market your property through various advertising portals to ensure maximum exposure. The property will be matched to all our prospective clients on our database and all viewings will be conducted by a member of our Lettings team. SAB handle the process of reference checking and the collection of security deposits and rent in advance payments received from the tenant prior to moving into the property. Once all references have been received and the Assured Shorthold Tenancy agreement (incl. Section 21(1)(b) Notice Requiring Possession) has been signed we will send you both copies of the AST along with a statement and the balance of monies due. Should the tenant/s vacate the property within the year SAB will re-let the property free of charge. If the tenant remains in the property longer than a year we do not charge an annual renewal fee. All security deposits are held by the landlord

The landlord is required to provide a valid Gas Safety certificate covering all gas appliances and a Portable Appliance Test certificate for all relevant portable electrical appliances. SAB can arrange this for you, in the event that you do not have one. Please contact our Lettings Department for more information.

Lettings & Management

The same initial process of marketing the property and finding the tenant applies with Lettings and Management. In addition to this we will check in all tenants and deal with all their requirements and queries. A member of our Lettings team will prepare an inventory of items in the property and this will be signed by the tenants when they move in and then re-checked when the tenants reach the end of their tenancy. The collection of rent is our responsibility to collect on your behalf. The management also includes complying with legal requirements i.e. issuing notices, checking tenants out at the end of their contract and maintenance and repair of the property as agreed with the landlord. In short all of the tedious duties that landlords otherwise have to deal with.

Our service comes without obligation. No Let, No Fee. In summary, once we are instructed, SAB will do everything to locate suitable tenants and move them in as soon as possible to avoid any loss of rent. We look forward to doing business with you.
